It's so unreachable for many folks that need help, and it seems that the supposed "advanced technology" is being used to line the pockets of these so-called specialists., leaving patients with future big debts! Yet they advertise in wanting to help people... It's insane!🙃

Got a root canal done about 2 month ago. To anyone who is sacred or nervous, just listen. I was absolutely terrified as I don’t like needles or drills at all. But I found a really good endodontist (however you say it) that did everything he could to make me comfortable. It was a smooth procedure and did not hurt one bit. The only thing that hurt was the medical bill, how long it took, how much the infected tooth stunk, and keeping my mouth open for that entire time. Was a tiny bit sore afterwards, but it was nothing compared to the pain before. I was pretty lucky because the nerve was already dead, but I had a huge infection. It was so easy and painless, so to anyone scared, it’s ok! Just find a good doctor you trust to do it, and it will all go perfect ❤

I had RCT done on my right bottom molar in 2007. 10 years or so later, I started feeling a sensation in the back canal when pressed. until earlier this year, I disregarded it. Then I went for the cap replacement. It felt fine until I encountered severe throbbing pain last month. I went for the checkup. The dentist recommended re-rct. This is the first time I learned about it. Since my doctor wasn't available, I went to a dental college. Since the dentist didn't administer anesthesia, the last poke went straight into the deepest cavity, confirming that it was infected. The pain I felt for the next hour or so is beyond description. After several attempts over the next three sittings, he was unable to remove the gutta percha from the other two canals and advised tooth extraction. Given how psychologically unsettling the entire episode was, I was forced to go for it. Around the extraction site, there emerged painful mouth ulcers. I’m currently in the healing process. Hopefully, in a week or two, everything will be alright.

Don’t get a root canal done they are toxic. No other field of medicine do we keep a dead body part. Have the tooth removed and get a bridge or a zirconia implant. Why the hell it is taking so much time? You guys dont want to give it to the public i guess. Or the scientist are so stupid they cant figure it out. Or they dont have funds ? What is it?

Anyone scared, kids or adults, it may seem like alot but it will make you feel wayyy better I know it may be scary I was terrified but find a good dentist and they will make you feel right at home and if your scared of needles like I am just fight through it because the numbing works sooo well you won’t feel anything but your jaw being tired from being open for so long haha.

This has helped me understand whats gonna happen during my surgery, thanks, now I gotta deal with the pain and money during the surgery tho.

HA! tried going here.. was basically told to kick rocks.. now i have a massive infection.. all because of the outrageous cost.. 25 dentists have all said the same thing

Anyone else getting a root canal soon? Update: Got the root canal. On my #8 tooth (my front right “buck tooth”). I got the numbing gel, and paid $50 extra for laughing gas. Literally the most painful experience of my life. I’m not kidding people, don’t skip out on the anesthetic. It was horrifying.

Getting a root canal ended up being amazing. I was in so much pain before, and the day after I got the procedure done it was night and day difference.

I had this done and I never felt any pain even though I waited up to 8 months with it then only pain I felt is from how long I had my mouth open

My dentist tought me to pass an x ray to one of my molar , and after seeing it he told me he would have to perform an root canal treatment, the same day he digged my teeth and made a temporary filling, he told to come back so we continue

30 years ago and still no viable method to regrow teeth.

I have found Omega 3 to be very effective in fighting periodontal inflammation. I believe there are components called Protectins and Resolvins in Omega3 oild which are active agents.

I've had burning from dental allergy two years. They wouldn't replace fillings. Had teeth removed and now the pain is unimaginable. Nothing had helped. I can't even eat or talk. I can't take it! I can't wear denture allergic. I'm out of options and can't live like this.
